10 day weather forecast for North India


On 12th January, light rain and snowfall may occur in the high Himalayan regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, and clouds will be seen in the rest of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and northern western Rajasthan, with no chances of rain. Today's maximum temperatures are likely to be Delhi 18°C, Jaipur 20°C, Sri Ganganagar 16°C, Jodhpur 24°C, Bareilly 17°C, Gorakhpur 19°C. Very dense fog is expected in the Terai regions of Uttar Pradesh and in Haryana and Punjab. On 13th January, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana will have light clouds, but no chances of rain. Medium to dense fog is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and the northern Terai regions of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. In all other places like Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, the weather is expected to remain dry.

On January 14, there is no possibility of a change in the weather; dry weather will continue across North India. Some clouds may be seen in Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of moderate to dense fog in Haryana, Punjab, northeastern Rajasthan, northern Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

On January 15, signs of a change in the weather will begin to appear from Jammu and Kashmir. Clouds will increase in Jammu and Kashmir, with a possibility of light rain at isolated places. Dry weather is expected in the rest of North India. There is a possibility of foggy conditions in Haryana, Punjab, and the Terai regions of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. In Madhya Pradesh and southern Uttar Pradesh, increased moisture in the atmosphere may cause dense fog in the morning.

On January 16, a new Western disturbance is likely to affect North India, with its impact expected to last in North India until January 20-21. Another active Western disturbance may arrive on January 22. On the 16th, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are expected to have heavy clouds with good chances of rain and snowfall. This intermittent rain and snowfall, sometimes light and sometimes moderate, is likely to continue until January 20-21. In Uttarakhand, clouds will also be present, but the chances of rain are very low. Light rain or snowfall may occur in high-altitude areas like Uttarkashi, Kedarnath, and Gangotri. During these days, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, and western Uttar Pradesh will also have clouds, but the chances of rain are slim. Night temperatures are expected to range between 6 to 10 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures are likely to be between 16 to 24 degrees Celsius.

In central India, there is no significant change expected in the weather over the next 10 days. Clouds may appear occasionally, but there is no chance of rain. Dry weather is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal. The minimum temperature will be between 11 to 14 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, meaning cold weather at night and bright sunshine during the day.

On January 12, light to moderate rainfall is likely at several places in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Light rainfall is possible in some areas of Maharashtra's coastal regions, Kolhapur, and Satara. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are expected to have dry weather.

On January 13, light to moderate rainfall may occur in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, while light rainfall is possible in Maharashtra. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are expected to have dry weather. On January 14, light rainfall is expected at limited places in Kerala, interior Tamil Nadu, and coastal Karnataka.
After that, from January 15 to 22, most places are likely to experience predominantly dry weather, with only occasional light rain in coastal Kerala. Cloud movement is expected in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, with clouds coming and going.
Ten-day weather forecast for Northeast India: Except for Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh, all states in Northeast India are likely to experience continuous dry weather. Light rainfall may occur at some places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, and Manipur on January 15. After that, between January 19 and 22, light rain or snowfall may occur in Arunachal Pradesh.
